Welcome to Road Scholar!
Road Scholar is a web app meant to augment Gear Mapper's basic GPS service for solopreneurs, 1099 contractors, and other businesses where a vehicle is used for both work and personal trips, and you want to keep track of your trips, classify them, and then at various intervals, export the data and hand to your accountant for your tax write-offs.
Note: This page is only for Gear Mapper customers,
and if you try using it outside of the Gear Mapper ecosystem, you're going to be
woefully disappointed. If you've come to this page to get help for your mileage tracking,
and aren't yet a Gear Mapper customer, then you can (and should!) reach us at

Frequently Asked Questions
It's most likely that you haven't pasted in your API key from the Gear Mapper GPS
Management Panel. You need to configure your Navixy API key before you can access
the main features of Road Scholar.
This is just a classification app. It'll see only what you see in your typical GPS panel view
(or the mobile app). If you don't see it there, please reach out to support at
support@gearmapper.com.
